The short version

We collect the minimum needed to answer your quote request or send the price alerts you asked for. We never sell your details. Quote requests are shared only with suppliers matched to your request. Our site analytics are cookieless and anonymous. You can ask for deletion of anything we hold at any time, and we'll action it.

What we collect

• Quote requests: the name, email, phone (optional), postcode, machine type, budget and usage details you submit through our RFQ form — solely to match and respond to your request.
• Price-drop alerts: your email address and chosen category — solely to send the alerts you subscribed to, with one-click unsubscribe on every email.
• Site analytics: cookieless, aggregated page-visit counts (no individual profiles, no cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies).
• Server logs: standard request logs held briefly for security and abuse prevention.

How it's used and shared

RFQ details are shared only with Australian welding equipment suppliers matched to your request — that is the service you asked for. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone else, ever. Aggregated (non-personal) price observations may be published in our index and reports.

Storage and security

Data is stored on encrypted infrastructure (Cloudflare). Access is restricted to the site operator. We keep quote requests while the enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete on request or when no longer needed.

Your rights

Ask us to access, correct or delete anything we hold about you at [email protected]. Unsubscribe from price alerts with the link in any email. Australian Privacy Principles apply to our handling of your information.
